Five On Friday

Hey Everyone! Happy Friday!I’m linking up with DarciChristinaNatasha, and April for Five on Friday!

One.
Pottery Barn Kids Valentine's Day gear is on sale! I am purchasing the mailbox and plates for next year. I have never been such an early shopper but we have been on a major budget crunch since buying the new house so I figure if I want to still be able to do all the cute, festive things I enjoy I have to find a way to make them much more budget friendly!

Two.
Baby Shower Planning!
Chris and I are expecting our niece in early April! Like how I say we're expecting lol I couldn't be more excited to meet this little girl and spoil her silly starting with her shower! It is Little Golden Book themed and I love how it is all coming together! My mother in law is one of the best party planners so I know it's going to be an amazing day. Here are some of my favorite details so far!

Patrick's Reading Nook
Now that downstairs is finally almost finished I am really starting to work on Patricks room. Part of me is so sad but I want it to be more of a big boy room. He has an amazing open closet area which I plan on turning into a reading/quiet area for him! I am going for an outdoorsy camper theme! Here are some of my ideas!

Cute Rug

Book Storage

Four.
Playdates at the aquarium! One of my closest friends has been home on maternity leave with her second child. We have had so much fun spending time with her and her daughter, Patricks best buddy! We especially have been loving our local aquarium. The membership is basically two visit costs so we have been going a ton! Patrick can't get enough of the touch tank!

Five.
DIY of the weekend

This is my project for the weekend! Planning on using this Rifle Paper Co. paper and adding the project to my side bar/bar project!

Happy Friday Everyone!

  2. The baby shower theme is amazing! I love all the detail you're planning on putting in! Look forward to seeing how it all turns out! Also, I buy everything after the holidays too or as soon as it goes on sale! It's the only way-other wise you're shelling out way too much for something that you'll only be able to use for a few weeks! Target and Micheal's have really cute Valentine's Day stuff on sale now too!
