What I'm Loving...
Monogram Necklace
I have been wanting one since we got married!
Unique Display For Wedding Photos
I love how simple and different this display is. Might have to try and recreate for our bedroom!
Unorthodox
I started reading this biography last night and I am hooked! It is a quick and easy read, and insightful look into a world I know nothing about!
Polka Dot Chucks
So cute and perfect for spring!
The Registry.... Gear
When we started thinking about registry we new first things we would be looking into was gear. First comes first, the car seat, you can't leave the hospital without it so it was first on our list. After much research and family advice we decided on the Chicco Keyfit in Cubes. It's safety ratings were great, and installation seems quick and easy after watching all my cousins use it!
Next up the stroller...This was a bit harder of a decision and more complicated than I anticipated. Travel system or jogger? Umbrella or Convertible? In the end we found we had several needs and would need more than one stroller.
First the Click and Go, a definite need as far as I can tell. Quick, light and easy to use, I'm sure this will get lots of use for grocery trips and travel.
Next up a full size. One of my husband's cousins recommended checking out the Uppababy Vista. We ended up loving the brand but felt the Vista was a little much for us as a family. Would we really need a bassinet for those first few weeks? Then Uppababy came out with the Cruz a sleeker, more streamline version of the Vista. Same perks, rear and front facing seat, huge basket, adjusting handle bars. But without the bassinet and seven hundred dollars price tag, we were sold! We choose black so it will be good for any little ones to come in our future!
Lastly the Umbrella Stroller. I know this will be a must have. Easy to transport and travel with as he gets bigger. We went with the Macalaren Triumph.
Next up for Connecticut winters, the JJ Cole Urban Bundle Me in Stealth to help baby Patrick stay cozy and warm in his carseat.
And for travel to the beach (we spend two weeks every summer with our familes on the Jersey Shore) and other vacations the Pack N Play Kensley. My Dad ended up getting this for us on sale at BJ's.
We are also receiving tons of hand me downs from family and a beautiful bassinet from my birth mother from Restoration Hardware, not sure what bedding but we think we will be doing the blue and brown polka dot.
That is most of our gear that I can remember! Hopefully baby will be all ready to go come May!
Next up Activity and Toys!

Nursery... A work in progress!
Planning the nursery was one of the first things we started after we found out he was a him. We knew we wanted something simple and classic he could grow into and change as his interests grew and changed. We ended up choosing the Max and Harper bedding set as our jumping off point!
After that it was onto furniture. After searching Pottery Barn Kids for way too long we could not find anything we loved. While registering (more about that later!) at Babies R Us we spotted Baby Cache Lifetime Essential furniture. Classic, simple and white....perfect! We choose the curved lifetime crib and the essential combo dresser, which we will also use as our changing table!
Last big piece of furniture was our glider, and at this point cost was a bit of a priority. We found our glider on Amazon. It was reasonable and went with our room decor.
Stork Craft Tuscany Glider And Ottoman Combo with Cushion, White/Blue
Next up decor, lighting and art! The fun stuff!

Its a Boy!
We are going to be parents! We are expecting our beautiful baby boy May 28 and could not be more thrilled! There is lots to do and we are well on our way. I have been feeling good and think pregnancy agrees with me. He is our little man Patrick James Flynn!
